Not Appearing Stupid

The workplace is accepting of all kinds of people, but not those who appear to be stupid. Looking stupid is almost always an impediment to success, and in certain fields it is a virtual roadblock.
"If you don't want to look stupid, you can start by avoiding the following statements:
"I won’t be available over the weekend. Call me Monday."
"My voice mail is full."
"Whose fucking idea was that?"
"Screw shareholder value!"
"Can you believe Mr. Baroslawski’s new toupee?"
"Twitter is for morons."
"Facebook is worthless as a marketing tool."
